Tangmere Museum's 360° Galleries

RAF Tangmere is remembered by most for its endurance during the Battle of Britain and Tangmere Military Aviation Museum does its best to preserves the history of the station. However, there is lot more history to Tangmere than just that. It was used by the SOE (Special Operations Executive) for undercover operations into occupied France and was the base for many record-breaking attempts in the late forties and fifties.

There is a good collection of interesting aircraft including some record breakers, WWII aircraft types and a good collection of objects from those times.

The galleries are divide in three section - In the Hangars, inside the buildings and around the grounds.
